Position Overview: Our Taymar internship program recruits and develops high caliber students to get hands on experience for a career in ticket sales, operations, corporate sponsorship, and annual giving. We work diligently with the athletics department at all of our partner schools to implement a program to increase our team’s impact on campus. Many of our interns are hired internally and many more go on to accept full-time roles in the sports industry upon graduation, including at Taymar. Responsibilities:Design graphics and templates to be shared across Taymar print and digital platformsTrack analytics and success on social media posts/releases, including staff interactions, and make recommendations on how to improve engagementEngage with current client schools, potential client schools and sports management programs through social channels to broaden viewershipAssist with compiling proposals and sponsorship decks as needed Light editing to the website to ensure it stays up to date Make innovative recommendations on how to improve current marketing and social media strategiesOther related duties as assigned by the Taymar corporate team.Qualifications:Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program or graduated with at least a bachelor's degree from a 4-year university or collegeFamiliarity with Photoshop, Canva, Powerpoint and other editing and creation tools. Familiarity with college and/or professional sports in some capacity is required.Strong work ethic, positive attitude and desire and ability to learn in a fast paced, highly competitive industryExcellent communication skillsWilling to learn and grow as a professional This position is unpaid but can be completed for college credit.
