Our Transportation Analytics team is responsible for analyzing and interpreting vast amounts of data to inform business decisions and optimize our supply chain operations. **Job Responsibilities** As a Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics team, you will be responsible for: * Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions * Creating ETLs or scripts that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table * Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges * Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs * Partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems * Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition * Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues * Mentoring junior team members and becoming a Subject Matter Expert in data analysis and transportation operations **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science * Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity * Creativity with a user experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards * Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally * Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, advanced experience with SQL and Tableau, as well as experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, would be beneficial.
