Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Geopolitical Risk Advisor – U.S. to join our Geopolitical Risk & Strategic Advisory practice. This role focuses on assessing U.S. political, regulatory, and foreign policy developments and translating them into actionable insights for multinational corporations and global investors. The successful candidate will help clients navigate complex U.S. policy shifts, geopolitical tensions, sanctions regimes, trade dynamics, and risks that affect global operations, supply chains, and strategic decision-making Key Responsibilities • Geopolitical & Policy Analysis: Monitor and analyze U.S. foreign policy trends, and global power dynamics. Evaluate the business implications of trade policy, export controls, sanctions, industrial policy, and regulatory shifts. • Client Advisory & Strategic Support: Translate geopolitical developments into commercial risk assessments and strategic recommendations. Support clients in scenario planning and stress-testing strategies against U.S. political and regulatory risks. Contribute to strategic advisory engagements across sectors including energy, technology, defense, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing. • Risk Forecasting & Scenario Planning: Develop forward-looking geopolitical risk scenarios tied to U.S. domestic and foreign policy trajectories. Identify emerging risks affecting supply chains, capital flows, regulatory compliance, and market access. Support crisis advisory efforts during geopolitical events involving U.S. interests. • Research & Thought Leadership: Produce high-quality analytical reports, white papers, and client-facing intelligence updates. Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership on U.S. geopolitical trends and global economic positioning. Required Qualifications • U.S. citizenship is required • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 2+ years of experience in geopolitical risk, public policy analysis, consulting, government, think tank research, or strategic advisory. • Strong understanding of: a) U.S. legislative and regulatory processes. b) U.S. foreign policy institutions and national security strategy. c)Trade policy, sanctions, and export controls. • Demonstrated ability to translate political developments into business implications. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience • Consulting or advisory firm background. • Prior engagement with U.S. government agencies or Capitol Hill. • Familiarity with quantitative risk modeling or geopolitical risk frameworks. • Established professional network within U.S. policy or regulatory circles Job Type: Part-time Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
