[Remote] Microsoft Graph & Azure AD Automation Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. New York Global Consultants Inc. (NYGCI) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Graph & Azure AD Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in identity management, API integrations, and large-scale automation within Microsoft 365 environments. Responsibilities • Design and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Graph API • Work with Graph API endpoints, versioning (v1.0 vs beta), pagination, throttling, and service limits • Implement advanced Graph capabilities such as delta queries, batching, filtering, and OData queries • Troubleshoot API issues and interpret Graph documentation, schemas, and responses • Configure and manage Azure AD app registrations • Implement authentication flows including app-only and delegated permissions • Manage certificates, secrets, and secure credential storage • Design least-privilege access models and admin consent workflows • Develop advanced PowerShell scripts and reusable modules • Use Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK for scalable automation • Implement logging, error handling, retry logic, and performance optimization • Build automation workflows using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or CI/CD pipelines • Automate Intune device and application management processes • Manage policies, compliance, Autopilot configurations, and device lifecycle • Support Azure AD identity governance including groups, roles, and conditional access • Work with REST APIs, HTTP methods, headers, and JSON payloads • Perform data transformation and automation workflows using JSON • Follow secure coding practices and version control using Git • Diagnose Graph API errors and permission issues • Interpret HTTP response codes and service limitations • Provide technical support and documentation for automation solutions Skills • Strong experience with Microsoft Graph API • Expert-level PowerShell scripting • Deep knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune • Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON • Experience with Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK • Knowledge of authentication methods (OAuth, certificates, secrets) • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows • Experience with Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or DevOps pipelines • Familiarity with enterprise security and IAM best practices • Microsoft certifications (SC-300, MS-102, AZ-104, etc.) Company Overview • New York Global Consultants Inc.
