Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Senior level Experience Length: 5 years Working Hours: Full Time Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: • Watch and analyze animal short films (8-12 minutes) provided by the company, studying plot, characters, and emotional moments • Create Document 1: Detailed scene-by-scene transcription of the original plot with time codes (6-second intervals), character lists, and environment descriptions • Create Document 2: Enhanced version with improved plot twists, dramatic storytelling, and strong emotional impact while maintaining same format and detail level • Inject powerful emotions into narratives (heartbreak, joy, tension, hope, triumph) that make audiences cry, laugh, and feel deeply connected to characters • Ensure both documents follow exact formatting requirements with accurate time codes, vivid descriptions, and grammatically correct writing • Deliver completed scripts (both documents) per agreed project timelines, respond to feedback promptly, and make revisions as needed on a contract basis • Strengthen moral lessons, add plot surprises, enhance character arcs, and improve story pacing for maximum emotional resonance • Maintain consistent quality across all contract assignments and communicate progress/challenges reliably as an independent contractor Requirements: • Proven experience in creative writing, storytelling, script development, or narrative writing with portfolio samples • Exceptional ability to write emotionally powerful narratives that move audiences to tears, laughter, and deep feeling • Critical: Strong visual observation skills with the ability to capture every detail exactly as shown - actions, movements, expressions, objects, lighting, weather • Ability to write vivid, detailed scene descriptions that paint clear mental pictures • Demonstrated skill in injecting strong emotions (sadness, joy, tension, relief, triumph) into stories with authentic impact • Excellent attention to detail and precision in documentation • Strong command of English language with exceptional descriptive and creative writing abilities • Plot development expertise with ability to create engaging twists and compelling character arcs • Understanding of story structure, pacing, emotional beats, and narrative development • Self-motivated and able to work independently as a contractor with minimal supervision • Reliable internet connection for video streaming and file submission • Available for contract work with flexible project-based assignments Technical Capabilities: • Proficiency in time-code management and scene segmentation • Document creation and formatting skills with consistent structure • Basic understanding of visual storytelling and scene composition Preferred Qualifications: • Portfolio demonstrating emotionally impactful stories or detailed scene descriptions • Knowledge of animal behavior and characteristics • Previous experience with video content analysis or adaptation work • Background in screenplay writing, film studies, or creative writing • Experience writing family-friendly or morally driven narratives Benefits: • Payment: ₦150,000 per project • Contract Structure: Project-based contract work • Available Projects: Up to 4 projects available Note: • Each contract covers one project only. • Future projects are awarded based on performance and quality of completed work. • Continuation is not guaranteed and depends entirely on our satisfaction with your deliverables.
