Legal Assistant – Remote
Law firm is currently hiring a remote Legal Assistant. The position is full time Monday through Friday with the ability to work from home. Regular opportunities for pay increases and promotions if desired.
The ideal applicant will have recent experience as a Litigation Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or Legal Assistant. Applicants interested in this position must be mature and reliable. This is a demanding role only suited for individuals who have recent experience and have a minimum of one year of legal support experience as a legal assistant, paralegal or a legal secretary.
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting a very busy Attorney and his Paralegal. Prepare pleadings, subpoenas, notices, and requests for production. Assist in all matters; coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions. Other required duties include managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments, drafting demand letters, and preparing routine correspondence.
