Consulting Pharmacist The Consulting Pharmacist at Fuze Health plays a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and patient-centered pharmaceutical services. Operating as an individual contributor, this role works cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Team Support & Oversight: Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians as needed to ensure efficient workflow and operational excellence. Service Coordination: Coordinate the provision of pharmaceutical services, including the delivery of medications and products to patients, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain all required documentation for services rendered and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Drug Security: Safeguard legend drugs and ensure proper handling, storage, and security in accordance with regulatory standards. Quality Assurance: Participate in the pharmacy quality assurance program to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and patient safety. Patient & Provider Communication: Regularly correspond with patients and healthcare providers via telephone, offering medication consultations and ensuring exceptional service. Education & Guidance: Support the Pharmacy Operations Leader in educating pharmacy staff and staying current on regulatory guidelines and industry standards. Patient Confidentiality : Maintain strict confidentiality of patient profiles, medication information, and all sensitive health data. Required Experience & Qualifications: Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio. Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Pharmacist. Ability and willingness to work at a computer screen for extended periods. Strong organizational and leadership skills to support pharmacy operations. A deep commitment to putting patients first and upholding high ethical standards. Please note the schedule for this position is Tuesday-Saturday: 9a-5:30p ET or Tuesday-Saturday: 12p-8:30p ET. Please note that while this position is remote, candidates must reside within the State of Ohio. Benefits: The compensation range for this position is $61.00-$64.00/hour , in addition we offer a range of benefits including: Full-time employee benefits include: dental, vision, and multiple group medical plans to choose from, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, group life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA), commuter benefits, employer-paid short-term (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, and additional supplemental insurance plans (spouse life insurance, legal insurance, an employee assistance program, home health testing kits, and a fertility medication discount program). Employees are also provided flexible vacation time, accrued paid sick time, 10 paid holidays, (2 floating holidays for full time non-exempt employees) , and eight weeks of paid parental leave for eligible employees, additional paid weeks for the birthing parent, 4 weeks paid caregiver leave, and a Lifestyle Spending Account allowance each month.
