As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be part of a groundbreaking team that's changing lives and creating lasting hope. **Job Summary:** We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team at the Peoria Recovery Response Center. As a key member of our front-line support team, you'll provide exceptional customer service, administrative support, and advocacy to our clients and stakeholders. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives and have a strong commitment to customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Guest Care & Advocacy:** + Answer telephones and act as receptionist for the program, triaging phone calls and gathering pertinent information from callers to accurately log the data elements of each and every call. + Perform functions necessary for the initial registration and input individual's data into computer systems. * **Compliance & Risk Management:** + Assist in the process of gathering data necessary to perform billing and audit functions as requested. + Stay up-to-date on all federal and state regulations and laws, as well as arenaflex policies and procedures. + Understand and adhere to arenaflex compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. * **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** + Oversee the use, maintenance, and repair of office equipment. + Maintain petty cash and ensure the facility reception areas are neat and orderly at all times. * **Additional Duties:** + Perform routine typing and other clerical tasks, including organizing, filing, copying, and faxing. + Maintain an organized office filing system that assures confidentiality of all documents. + Assist in the ordering and stocking of office supplies as needed. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Qualifications:** * **Education:** + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred. * **Experience:** + Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or office experience required. * **Skills:** + Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. + Effective communication both verbally and in writing. + Excellent interpersonal skills. + Excellent customer service skills. + Organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy. + Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. + Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements. * **Miscellaneous Requirements:** + Must be at least 18 years old (unless residing in a state with a different minimum age requirement). + Travel required based on business need. + Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism. + Must be able to pass a seven-year background check. + Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable). + Must be able to pass education verification check. + Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states. + Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier (if driving is required for this position). **Work Environment:** As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment at the Peoria Recovery Response Center.
