Accounting Associate (Entry Level) - Hybrid Alpharetta, GA

The Accountant Associate plays a key part in keeping our financial engine running smoothly, from accounts payable/receivable to financial reporting, and everything in between. You'll work directly with experienced managers and gain exposure to a wide range of business processes. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities: You'll take the lead and assist on a variety of accounting functions and play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations: • Owns the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts: identify variances, document activity, and research practical solutions. • Help with the preparation of financial statements and other regulatory compliance with clear support documentation. • Onboard vendor & customer accounts including managing tax exemptions and verifying compliance requirements. • Manage employee credit card activity and ensure timely, accurate expense report submissions. • Develop insightful financial variance analysis to help leadership make informed decisions. • Track and report on promotional/spiff/co-op programs for clarity and ROI. What You'll Have: • We're looking for someone who's as sharp with numbers as they are with communication and collaboration: • Working Knowledge -Microsoft Excel Skills (e.g. lookups, matching, sumifs, and pivot tables) • Clear, professional communication - both written and verbal • A proactive, analytical mindset for solving challenges as they arise • Stellar time management with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines like a pro Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) a plus. • A relevant internship or up to one year of accounting experience Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
