2D Game Background Artist/Animator (SPINE Proficiency Is Required | English Speaking | Full Time)

The Role We’re hiring a 2D/3D Game Background Animation Designer to create animated reel backgrounds and environments for our social casino slot games. This is a full-time, execution-heavy role focused on producing high-volume, production-ready animations using Spine and industry-standard creative tools. You’ll be creating 3–4 animated backgrounds per day, working independently while collaborating with an English-speaking team via Slack and Asana. Experience in mobile games, slot games, or social casino games is strongly preferred. What You Will Do • Create 2D animated backgrounds and reel environments for mobile slot games • Animate subtle loops using Spine (lighting, parallax, ambient motion) • Produce 3–4 motion backgrounds per day across multiple games • Design assets with strong visual hierarchy, UX clarity, and mobile readability • Prepare layered files for efficient animation pipelines • Collaborate daily using Slack, Asana, Google Drive • Review visuals in live game builds (TestFlight or internal builds after onboarding) • Iterate quickly based on feedback from the team What We’re Looking For • 5–7+ years experience as a Game Artist, 2D Animator, or Background Designer • Strong proficiency in Spine animation software (required) • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) • Experience creating art for mobile games (social casino or slot games is a big plus) • Strong understanding of game UI, UX, and mobile-first design • Excellent English reading, writing, and conversational skills • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic • Able to handle high-volume daily production without losing quality • Comfortable working independently without micromanagement Salary • $1,400 USD per month + potential bonuses (full-time | paid bi-weekly|flexible schedule) Before You Apply This is a fast-paced, production-focused role.
