ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Schedule Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday. Job Description The Travel Med Surg RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in a general medical-surgical setting, including post-operative care and management of diverse patient populations. The nurse will monitor patients remotely with support from a monitoring technician and manage medication administration effectively. Responsibilities • Provide general medical and surgical nursing care to patients. • Monitor patient telemetry and respond to alarms with appropriate interventions. • Administer medications and manage patient care following established protocols. • Assist in post-operative care and support for bariatric and oncology patients. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required. • 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience preferred. • Experience with telemetry monitoring is required. • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary. • Cerner experience is needed.
