Medical Writer - Content Development, Review, Triage, QC, PM
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Writer to join us on a 3-month contract, supporting our team 5–7 hours per week. In this role, you will act as a critical extension of my team, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely progression of our medical communications deliverables.
This is not a standard “author-only” role; you will serve as a triage, QC, and project management liaison for junior writing staff. You will be the safety net that ensures projects move forward accurately, providing mentorship to junior writers while also stepping in to write high-quality content when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Triage & Project Management
Act as the central point of contact for incoming projects from junior writers; assess scope, complexity, and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow.
Identify potential bottlenecks or quality issues early and proactively communicate solutions to senior leadership.
Writing
Synthesize complex clinical data into clear, concise, and engaging narratives suitable for diverse audiences (HCPs, sales teams, or internal stakeholders).
