Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, action-oriented candidate with a passion for customer happiness and previous experience in retail or customer service. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.00, with the flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Our Customer Care Center operates every day from 7 AM to 9 PM, and we are looking for team members who can adapt to changing schedules and peak periods throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Pre-Sale Inquiry Resolution: Respond to customer questions via phone, email, and online chat regarding fit, fashion trends, styles, product availability, and special promotions. Guide customers through the online ordering process with patience and expertise.
  • Post-Sale Support: Address and resolve post-order inquiries related to delivery, billing, and shipping. Work diligently to ensure customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize a range of software tools and platforms to efficiently address customer inquiries, track orders, and document interactions in our customer relationship management system.
  • International Customer Support: Assist consumers with both domestic and international concerns by coordinating with outside shipping contractors and logistics partners to resolve delivery issues.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our luxury fashion collections, including designer brands, sizing conventions, and fashion trends to provide accurate and helpful recommendations.
  • Order Processing: Process refunds, apply discounts including specified percentages, tiered promotional codes, and partial discounts to orders with precision and accuracy.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for productivity, quality, and service while working under pressure in a high-volume environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to management about common customer issues and suggest improvements to processes and systems.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school graduation or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience in retail, service, or customer service industries is preferred. Previous experience in luxury goods or high-end retail is a significant plus.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic math with the ability to compute refunds before and after discounts, and apply specified percentages, tiered promotional codes, and partial discounts to orders accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas. Strong active listening skills to understand and interpret customer needs effectively.
  • Organizational Abilities: Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Flexibility with a full-time schedule, including shift assignments on weekends and evenings. Must be available to work during peak periods including holidays.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Pressure Management: Experience working under pressure in a high-volume environment while upholding standards for productivity, quality, and service.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer. Comfortable learning new software and technology platforms quickly.

While not required, the following qualifications will give you an edge in the selection process:

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Additional proficiency in Spanish, Japanese, Korean, or Russian is highly valued and may qualify you for specialized customer segments.
  • Fashion Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with luxury fashion brands, designer collections, and current style trends.
  • E-Commerce Experience: Previous experience in online retail customer service or e-commerce order management.
  • Multilingual Capabilities: Ability to communicate effectively with international customers across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.

Note: The pay range for this position varies based on geographic location within the United States, ranging from approximately $31,200 per year in lower-cost markets to $53,600 per year in higher-cost markets.
