Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our team for the 2023 recruitment season. As a key member of our HR team, you will drive talent management strategies, foster a positive and inclusive work culture, and contribute to the success of American Express. Your responsibilities will include:
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, execute recruitment strategies, and source top-tier talent. Lead and mentor a team of recruiters to meet hiring goals effectively.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by addressing employee concerns, promoting open communication, and providing guidance and support to resolve workplace issues and conflicts.
- Talent Development: Implement learning and development initiatives to support career growth, identify training needs, and collaborate with leaders to create individual development plans for employees.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, provide guidance on goal setting and feedback, and assist in identifying high-potential employees and implementing succession planning.
- HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, and recommend necessary updates to stay ahead of industry trends and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a large corporate setting
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
