We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, leading and developing your team, and driving business results.

Job Summary:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your pharmacy team, as well as overseeing the administration, operation, and quality assurance of all aspects of the pharmacy. This includes patient health, pharmacy professional practice, administrative requirements, client care, staff management, inventory management, financial performance, loss prevention, and workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with heart - demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, clients, parents, and partners in your team
  • Drive, inspire, and develop your Pharmacy Care Staff by aligning tasks that maximize partners' resources, address development opportunities, and reduce knowledge gaps
  • Identify key business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy
  • Effectively implement those plans by leading your team to achieve determined goals
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting
  • Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver improved results
  • Align others around purpose to gain support and accountability
  • Contribute to a 'team' culture that promotes engagement, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of Illinois
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Vaccination Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
  • No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field
