Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst and Workflow Systems Examiner to join our Center Operating Systems group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and developing critical workflow tooling at scale, enabling groups to deliver high-quality software through top-tier engineering experiences, efficient workflows, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement. Your focus will be on delivering actionable data insights and engaging with partners across the organization to provide training in support of workflow initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with management to drive workflow improvement initiatives in both quality and efficiency
  • Develop dashboards to visualize key data, repeat show, and design with clients
  • Translate data into insights; identify trends and patterns within large datasets
  • Research and describe the current state of software development workflow; understand foundational challenges and pinpoint processes that need improvement
  • Collaborate with a team of data scientists and full-stack engineers to derive and develop targeted insights through halfway run interactive dashboards using Scene
  • Work directly with teams to integrate insights into their decision-making and monitoring cycles
  • Monitor the results of your engagement and regularly report on wins and challenges to executive management

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development as a data analyst, programmer, or technical PM
  • Experience planning and driving execution across disparate partner groups towards a unified objective
  • Solid demonstrated understanding of SDLC and Quality Management
  • Ability to blend key success measures, present strategy and process recommendations to all levels of management
  • Effective at analyzing and documenting workflows/processes into workflow graphs
  • Working with data; querying and visualization, presentation of quantitative data, using Scene
  • Driving client relationships; comfortable presenting to groups, gathering and implementing feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly skilled in data analysis, statistical modeling, and principles of engaging analysis, including advanced Scene development
  • Proven track record of influencing positive outcomes across a distributed organization with formal organizational change methods
  • Knowledge of DevOps metrics, and LEAN software delivery concepts
  • Software Development; understanding build pipelines, merging, test systems, and strategies, and the delivery of code
