About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying advanced quantitative analyses and models using operations research, statistical, machine learning, product management, and programming skills. This role requires a strong ability to work collaboratively with various teams, including pricing, yield management, and revenue analysis, to develop and deploy solutions that drive business value. Key Responsibilities Design, execute, and deploy advanced quantitative analyses and models using operations research, statistical, machine learning, product management, and programming skills to drive decision-making and actions. Utilize data engineering and programming skills to clean data, create data streams and pipelines for models to run, and deploy them to production. Collaborate with partner teams to deeply understand the problems being addressed and enhance existing and create new production models and automated solutions. Present and communicate the results of analyses and models to stakeholders, including senior management. Work primarily in Python, SQL, or other coding languages to develop and deploy models and analytical products. Develop hypotheses to test and understand what can and cannot be inferred from the results. Guide and collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality outputs. Maintain code standards, participate in code reviews, and document workflows, models, and code. Assist with reporting as needed. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Previous professional experience with SQL, Python, R, or other coding languages. Previous professional experience with statistical analysis. 0-2 years of relevant professional experience. Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will also possess: A graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or other scientifically focused programs. Experience in an airline pricing, yield or revenue management, revenue analytics, or revenue systems, or a comparable role. Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will demonstrate: A proven ability to perform quantitative analysis and model development independently. The ability to apply concepts from economics and pricing management to coding models and analytical products. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail for reporting and analysis. The ability to work collaboratively with different departments, partners, and staff.
