Premium Audit Insurance Trainee (Corpus Christi)
Texas Mutual Insurance Company is the leading workers’ compensation insurance provider in Texas, serving a vast network of businesses and workers. They are seeking a Premium Audit Trainee who will undergo a 12-week training program to develop skills in conducting onsite audits and maintaining policyholder relationships while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Complete a 12-week training program based in Austin, TX with an expected start date of April 6, 2026. Travel throughout Texas is expected during the 12-week program as well
- Conduct onsite audits by examining financial records and performing interviews to determine the final earned premium for the policyholder
- Analyze financial reconciliations, policyholder payroll records, job classification codes, and contracts
- Develop and maintain policyholder relationships, deliver excellent customer service, and promote policyholder retention
- Communicate with policyholders to ensure their understanding and compliance
- Identify and refer potential fraud
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent critical thinking, empathy, desk management, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to travel within the state of Texas
