[Remote] Press Coordinator

Brilliant Agency is a rapidly growing agency focused on family-oriented brands, seeking a Full-time Press Coordinator to support their marketing efforts. The role involves media relations, client management, creative ideation, and assisting in event planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Pull and manage media and influencer databases
- Draft and distribute pitches/press releases/media alerts; Conduct follow up and monitor for coverage
- Build relationships with key journalists and influencers
- Coverage monitoring
- Inbound influencer and media inquiries
- Sample requests
- Calendar invites and call reminders
- Research projects
- Participate in brainstorms and contribute creative ideas for client campaigns, new product launches, pitch angles, etc
- Assist in research, planning, and execution of virtual or live press media & influencer press events, creative media mailers, etc
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1-2 internships in PR or relevant consumer goods industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trends
