[Remote] Information Technology Business Analyst - M&A Integration

SRM Digital LLC is focused on Mergers & Acquisitions integration projects, and they are seeking an IT Business Analyst to audit and document IT environments across newly acquired businesses. The role involves conducting IT discovery activities, translating findings into actionable work packages, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration. Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive IT audits and discovery activities for acquired entities, including: • Infrastructure (servers, networks, data centers, cloud platforms) • Applications and systems • Data flows, integrations, and technical dependencies • Document current-state IT environments using standardized discovery templates and frameworks • Identify gaps, risks, constraints, and integration considerations during discovery • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT owners, and vendors to validate findings and resolve discrepancies • Translate discovery outputs into structured, implementation-ready work packages for engineering and delivery teams • Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise governance, compliance, and security standards • Support integration planning by providing clear inputs to project managers and solution teams • Maintain version control and audit readiness for all discovery and handover documentation Skills • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably within M&A or large-scale IT transformation programs • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure, applications, and integrations • Hands-on experience with IT discovery, audits, and documentation • Ability to translate technical findings into clear, structured deliverables • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience working in matrixed project environments with multiple delivery teams • Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and security standards • Experience supporting post-merger IT integration initiatives • Exposure to infrastructure migrations, application rationalization, or system consolidations • Knowledge of common ITSM, CMDB, or enterprise architecture tools Company Overview • We at SRM Digital are focused towards connecting businesses with top talent across various industries.
