Information Technology Support Specialist
Coretechs, LLC is a leading managed services provider based in Louisiana, specializing in cybersecurity solutions for businesses across various industries. They are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, perform systems administration, and ensure the security and reliability of clients' IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Systems Administration: Perform administration and maintenance of clients' IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Technical Support: Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to clients, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity promptly and efficiently
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and proactively implement corrective measures to optimize system performance and minimize downtime
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols and measures to protect clients' systems and data from cyber threats and unauthorized access
- Patch Management: Ensure timely application of patches, updates, and security fixes across clients' systems and infrastructure
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and incident resolutions. Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and recommendations for improvement
- Disaster Recovery: Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure business continuity for clients
- Client Communication: Interact with clients, assess their technical needs, and provide timely updates and clear communication regarding system status and issue resolution progress
Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in systems administration, including server administration, network configuration, Office 365, DHCP/DNS/Active Directory
- Azure AD experience is a major plus!!
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively
- Experience in working remotely, managing time efficiently, and meeting deadlines independently
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and the ability to implement and maintain security measures
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and client requirements
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Network+, or relevant industry certifications are desirable
