AI Model Developer

Job Title: AI Model Developer Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative AI Model Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and developing advanced AI solutions to enhance our company's capabilities. This role will involve creating, fine-tuning, and deploying models that leverage cutting-edge techniques to improve consumer experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement models using OpenAI's ChatGPT API or similar LLMs, with a focus on prompt engineering and fine-tuning. Utilize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods to improve model performance and information retrieval. Write Python scripts for data processing, API integration, and model deployment. Work with OpenAI and RESTful APIs to integrate AI models into existing systems. Manage structured and unstructured data using SQL and MongoDB. Leverage Azure Databricks for data processing and model training. Implement embedding models for efficient storage and retrieval of vector data. Document all processes, changes, and designs to ensure traceability and team communication. Troubleshoot integration issues and debug AI models for optimal performance. Work with distributed data systems such as Databricks and Apache Spark. Conduct clustering, embedding creation, and evaluation for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Apply model alignment and bias mitigation strategies. Use tools such as LangSmith, MLflow, and custom evaluation functions for performance testing and monitoring. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in LLM development and deployment. Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud-based platforms (especially Azure). Familiarity with vector databases and embedding techniques. Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD for AI pipelines, and model versioning.
