The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing funding through well-crafted grant proposals and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of Electrical Engineering. Key Responsibilities: • Grant Proposal Development: Research, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding for Electrical Engineering applications. • Technical Writing: Translate complex technical concepts related to Electrical Engineering into clear, compelling narratives for grant applications. • Collaboration: Work closely with clients and project managers to gather necessary technical information and ensure accuracy in grant proposals. • Write Proposal Packages: Write the project narrative, budget justification, biosketches and other peripherals required for the submission based on the requirements of the solicitation. Qualifications: • Education: Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering. • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical grant writing, with a focus on Electrical Engineering. • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Electrical Engineeringand its applications in research. • Writing Skills: Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively. • Research Skills: Proficient in conducting funding research and identifying suitable grant opportunities. • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with grant management software and tools. • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in Electrical Engineering field. • Previous success in securing large-scale grants for technology-driven projects.
