Snow Removal Vehicle Operator

<br><strong><br></strong><div style="text-align: center;"><undefined><strong>Snow Removal Vehicle Operator</strong><br></undefined></div>Under supervision, operates snow removal equipment used for clearing highways and to spread salt. Performs driver maintenance on vehicle to which assigned. Performs related duties as required. (This position is seasonal, to be used only during the snow removal season).A High School Diploma or GED is required. A valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Type B with Air Brake Endorsement is required. Truck driving experience is preferred. Must have a good driving record.<br><strong>Additional Duties</strong><br><undefined>Under direct supervision, operate tractors to mow grass in vacant lots, parks and right of ways.  When working in parks, may need to operate a 60” zero-turn mower.  Driver pick-up trucks and/or packers as part of daily work assignments.  Overtime may be necessary for grass cutting, setting up/tearing down special events, or emergency tasks like storm damage clean-up.  Provide maintenance assistance to co-workers as needed.  Employees should be prepared to work in all types of weather, including cold/hot temperatures, sleet, rain and sun.  Proper personal protective equipment (PPE), rain suites and training will be provided for a safety.</undefined><br><undefined><br></undefined><p data-pasted="true" style="text-align: center;">The City's guiding principles are as follows<em>: Placing Clevelanders at the Center, Empowering Employees to Do Purposeful Work, Defining Clear and Pragmatic Objectives, Leading with Trust and Transparency, Striving for Equity in All We Do, and Embracing Change. </em>All City employees are responsible for embracing and carrying out these principles in all that they do.</p><br>
