Role: Copado QA Automation Architect Loc: Canada (Remote) Job Summary The Copado QA Automation Architect is a strategic role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks within the Copado DevOps platform. This role bridges the gap between development and release management, utilizing Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) to ensure high-quality, high-speed Salesforce releases, reducing manual testing, and accelerating ROI. Key Responsibilities: • Framework Design & Strategy: Lead the development of automation test strategies and maintain, scale, and optimize the automation framework using CRT, QWeb, and Robot Framework. • CRT Implementation: Act as the subject matter expert in Copado Robotic Testing (CRT), designing and developing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, CPQ). • CI/CD Integration: Integrate test automation directly into Copado CI/CD pipelines to validate deployments in real-time. • AI-Powered Testing: Leverage Copado’s AI (Test Copilot) to convert manual tests, Selenium scripts, and user stories into automated test cases. • Process Optimization: Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure quality-driven pipelines, improving release velocity while maintaining compliance. • Governance & Maintenance: Maintain test script resilience to UI changes (e.g., Lightning/Cosmos) and manage source control for tests using Git. • Mentorship: Mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices and the usage of CRT. Required Skills & Qualifications • Experience: 5+ to 10+ years of experience in Salesforce QA Automation, with at least 2-3 years specifically in Copado Robotic Testing (CRT). • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Robot Framework, QWeb, Selenium, and API testing. • Salesforce Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata, and data models. • DevOps Tools: Expertise in Git (branching, merging), CI/CD concepts, and tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins. • Platform Familiarity: Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Platform. • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
