Responsibilities • Processes transactions and performs accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and other charges. • Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry and mathematical accuracy. • Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers. • Compares purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges. • Processes statement of accounts and invoices for payment. • Submits and verifies electronic bank deposits. • Maintains bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updates information as needed. Qualifications • Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred; Two or more years' bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred • Language Skills - Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, co-workers and customers. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, customers, staff, vendors, etc. • QuickBooks experience preferred. • Mathematical Skills - Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to nature of work performed. • Computer Skills - Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc. This role requires an above average knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop. • Experience - Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 22 per week Experience level: 2 years Schedule: • 4 hour shift • Monday to Friday • No nights • No weekends Work Location: Remote Keywords: Remote jobs Closed Date: 2025-10-19 #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
