Market Associate

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-03-23
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community you will join: Our Supply Team is growing, and we want you to be part of it! As a Market Associate, you will play a crucial role in the retention, growth, and optimization of host entrepreneurs and rising hosts in your assigned territory. You will focus on building strong relationships with these hosts, helping them optimize their listings, improve pricing strategies, and enhance their overall success on Airbnb. The difference you will make: As a Market Associate, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of long-tail Hosts in an assigned territory. You will establish and nurture business relationships with emerging professional host accounts by suggesting and supporting strategic initiatives that drive their success on Airbnb. These initiatives will include supply optimization, pricing optimization, host recruitment, and platform education. In addition, as these Hosts successfully grow on the platform, it will be imperative that you help them maintain best-in-class hospitality standards for an excellent guest experience. Beyond one-to-one account management responsibilities, you’ll also support Market Managers on your team to deliver one-to-many education programs, such as webinars and scaled e-mail communication. Ultimately, this team will be responsible for helping long-tail Hosts thrive on Airbnb. A typical day: • Manage a book of business consisting of host entrepreneurs and rising hosts, ensuring their retention, growth, and optimization on Airbnb. • Conduct one-on-one optimization and onboarding conversations, providing strategic recommendations on pricing, availability, and listing quality. • Secure availability over high compression dates, ensuring hosts maximize their revenue potential. • Educate hosts on product updates and policy changes, while channeling their feedback to internal teams. • Respond to host inquiries and provide timely, high-quality support to improve their experience on the platform. • Analyze performance data to identify trends and take action on opportunities that drive increased bookings and host success. • Develop long-lasting relationships with hosts, ensuring they receive ongoing support tailored to their needs. Your expertise: • 3+ years of experience in new sales, account management, or partner support. • 2+ years of hospitality/travel industry experience (nice to have). • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively. • Proven experience working a book of business, driving engagement and growth through proactive account management. • Highly goal-driven, with a strong bias for action and persistence in the face of challenges. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively via phone, email, and in-person. • Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly working with leads and opportunities (Salesforce experience is a plus). Your Location: Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont or Maine to be able to conduct their work. If your position is employed by another Airbnb entity, your recruiter will inform you what states you are eligible to work from. Our Commitment To Inclusion & Belonging: Airbnb is committed to working with the broadest talent pool possible. We believe diverse ideas foster innovation and engagement, and allow us to attract creatively-led people, and to develop the best products, services and solutions. All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply. We strive to also provide a disability inclusive application and interview process. If you are a candidate with a disability and require reasonable accommodation in order to submit an application, please contact us at: reasonableaccommodations@airbnb.com. Please include your full name, the role you’re applying for and the accommodation necessary to assist you with the recruiting process. We ask that you only reach out to us if you are a candidate whose disability prevents you from being able to complete our online application. How We'll Take Care of You: Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
