Senior Software Engineer Python Django PostgreSQL and Vue.js

The Senior Software Engineer develops, tests, and maintains applications using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and Vue.js within our AWS-centric SaaS environment. While primarily focused on full-stack development, familiarity with DevOps practices supports efficient development and release processes. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across all aspects of a multi-tiered architecture. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, customer-focused, and eager to mentor team members. They identify areas for improvement and act on them. You will collaborate with engineers, managers, product management, and operations to deliver solutions that meet customer, business, and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Development and Architecture â ¢ Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications â ¢ Perform code and design reviews with the development team â ¢ Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks â ¢ Design and implement monitoring and alerting solutions â ¢ Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities (dependency CVEs, infrastructure misconfigurations) DevOps and Infrastructure â ¢ Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation â ¢ Manage release processes and develop release documentation â ¢ Ensure team adherence to development and release best practices â ¢ Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads â ¢ Update and maintain AWS infrastructure, including networking, security groups, and cloud resources Collaboration and Improvement â ¢ Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate daily with the delivery team â ¢ Track and improve developer experience â ¢ Introduce new tools and practices to improve how the team builds and ships software â ¢ Master and help the team adopt AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitH Required Qualifications â ¢ Bachelorâ s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience) â ¢ 5+ years of professional software development experience â ¢ 3+ years of experience with AWS â ¢ Proficiency with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and Vue.js â ¢ Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries â ¢ Experience with Git and version control workflows â ¢ Experience building REST APIs with Django REST Framework (DRF) â ¢ Experience in Agile/Scrum environments â ¢ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills â ¢ Ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure Preferred Qualifications â ¢ AWS certification â ¢ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization â ¢ PostgreSQL performance tuning â ¢ Experience defining and managing DevOps processes â ¢ Experi Please mention the word **ENRAPTURE** and tag RMzguNjguMTM0LjE5NA== when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMzguNjguMTM0LjE5NA==).
