About the Role

As a Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a crucial role in our fulfillment operations. This is a hands-on position that keeps you engaged and active throughout your shift. Whether you're receiving inventory, preparing customer orders, or operating material handling equipment, your work will directly contribute to ensuring our customers receive their packages in perfect condition and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily duties as a Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist will include:

• Inventory Management: Receive incoming shipments and accurately put away products in their designated locations using our inventory management systems
• Order Processing: Retrieve customer orders and prepare them for packaging, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Packing Operations: Carefully pack items using appropriate materials to ensure products arrive safely at their destination
• Shipping Logistics: Load boxes onto trucks for shipment, ensuring proper handling and distribution
• Scanning & Verification: Use handheld scanners to read barcodes and verify product information, following system prompts for various tasks
• Quality Control: Ensure all products meet our rigorous quality requirements before shipping
• Equipment Operation: Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) including forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise, escalating complex problems to supervisory staff
• Height Work: Safely work at heights up to 35-40 feet on mezzanines and elevated platforms where applicable

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is an active role that requires physical engagement throughout your shift. You'll be on your feet, moving around the facility for the majority of your workday. Here's what you can expect:

• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly
• Push/Pull: Capability to push utility carts weighing up to 60 pounds
• Movement: Continuous standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts
• Equipment Handling: Use of carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other material handling gear
• Stair Climbing: Ability to navigate stairs where applicable
• Working at Heights: Comfortable working at elevations up to 40 feet on mezzanines (where applicable)

Work Environment Conditions

Our facilities are large, dynamic environments with varying conditions:

• Activity Level: Some positions require standing in one place for extended periods, while others involve walking throughout the warehouse or climbing stairs
• Temperature: Even with climate controls, temperatures can range from 60°F to 90°F in certain areas. During hot summer days, temperatures in loading docks and trailers can exceed 90°F
• Noise Level: The warehouse environment can be noisy at times. We provide hearing protection for those who need it
• Safety Standards: We maintain strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards. All team members are required to follow safety protocols meticulously

Dress Code & Gear

We maintain a relaxed dress code with essential safety requirements. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are mandatory, and protective safety footwear is required in select business units. Depending on your role and location, arenaflex provides a $110 footwear stipend to help you get prepared for your first day. We also provide all necessary protective gear, and our teams share safety tips daily to ensure everyone goes home safe.
