Job Title: Loan Servicing Representative Department: Loan Servicing Job Summary The Loan Servicing Representative provides front-line support for mortgage loan servicing operations. This position is responsible for responding to borrower inquiries, processing routine servicing transactions, and ensuring accurate loan data in the servicing system. The representative will assist in maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Essential Functions & Responsibilities • Respond to borrower inquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence regarding payments, escrow, insurance, loan terms, and general servicing issues. • Assist with the boarding of new loans into the servicing system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. • Process payments, payoffs, and adjustments in accordance with established procedures and timelines. • Monitor and process escrow disbursements for taxes and insurance, including follow-up with third parties as needed. • Track and maintain insurance records; follow up with borrowers and agents to obtain updated policies. • Support the preparation and mailing of escrow analysis statements and other required borrower notices. • Handle routine servicing transactions, such as loan modifications, subordination requests, and payoff quotes. • Assist with system exception review and escalate discrepancies to the appropriate team member. • Maintain organized and accurate loan records in accordance with document retention policies. • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve servicing issues. • Support compliance with federal and state servicing regulations (RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Flood, etc.). • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Loan Servicing department. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • 1–3 years of experience in mortgage or consumer loan servicing preferred. • Strong understanding of loan documents, escrow processes, and payment application. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and loan servicing software. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Familiarity with applicable regulations and investor servicing guidelines is a plus. Education • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Associate’s degree or relevant coursework in business, finance, or a related field preferred (or comparable experience) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
